Study on the scientific evidence of the benefits of SEADLING Pet

Before the launch of SEADLING Pet we have conducted several small scale consumer tests, showing promising results regarding the improvement of skin and fur conditions, and also digestive functions in cats and dogs after feeding them with our fermented, prebiotic seaweed powder.

As SEADLING is very scientific and technology-focussed as a company, our aim is to dig deeper and find out more about the specific benefits of our product.

So we are excited that last week, we have started a non-invasive product test with the Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) in Kuala Lumpur. One group of cats will be fed with the recommended daily amount of SEADLING Pet for two months, whereas the other group will act as control group and will only be fed with their regular pet food.

After the two month trial period, we will obtain scientific data of the stool quality, post feeding behaviour (active, playfulness etc.),  nutrient digestibility & absorption, the number of beneficial bacteria such as lactobacillus, the overall improvement of the immune system and cholesterol levels as well as coat and skin condition after feeding SEADLING Pet.
